Hi, I'm Kalah!
I was born and raised in Washington! I am a full time wedding photographer, but I am also a mama, a friend, a daughter, a sister, and a Jesus lover! The feeling I get when capturing the perfect photograph during a session is the feeling I live and dream for. I am constantly learning new things about my camera, dreaming up new creative ideas, and forever obsessed with this passion of mine! My style is movement driven, specializing in authentic emotion and candid moments. As your photographer I believe in photographing who you actually are. Those real photos are the photos that are most treasured.
My Approach
Documenting emotions that are raw, organic, and heartfelt! These photos are not meant to be staged poses, stiff moments, or inorganic emotions! Instead, these photos are meant to be a true representation of the love story within them. I used to try and pose or frame photos perfectly, but in doing this, I was taking out the natural moments that could have transpired while I was too busy trying to make it “look perfect”. Photos are meant to be wild, fun, free, and “imperfect”, because that is what makes a photo a perfect representation of each unique couple within it!
